My wife has been training for a while. Weekly in her current programming she does singles @ 8. When doing a deadlift single, as soon she starts the pull her pelvis (when viewed from behind) goes from looking normal and level to being seriously tilted. I would eyeball the angle at being about 10 degrees. I have not really made a big deal of this to her, since she not only doesn’t experience discomfort from it, but is basically unaware that it happens at all. However, it looks so crazy to me that I thought I’d bring it up here just to see if it might be something to be concerned about or indicate some modification to the way she pulls.
Possibly related history: She’s had an LLD diagnosis from a PT in the past (a couple years ago, prescribed some stretcjes for it). She had that PT examination due to complains of SI joint pain after a couple hours of sitting. That pain did resolve from the stretching for a couple days, but a couple days without the stretching brought it back. Since barbell training regularly the pain is entirely gone except occasionally for very long periods of sitting.
Thanks
