Through my own personal experience I have found this website and it’s articles to be the epitome of everything I’ve come to learn and believe in as it relates to rehabilitating pain, I really appreciate all your information. Im 23 years old and for the last 3 years ive been dealing with what I’m told is an “S.I. joint issue” (MRI on discs all negative). Im fairly pain free while in the gym. My main problems are sitting and running. I feel as though I have no shock absorbers. Aggresive strength training has been my only way of getting better but I’m still not where I would like to be. I would appreciate your input on what you believe this sounds like and if your Back Pain Rehab program would apply to me. Thank you for your time.

Hello,
First, thank you for checking out our content. It is often hard to offer specific advice on this as training history from both a strength and endurance perspective are often needed to dial things in. That being said, progressive resistance training does have evidence for helping out in posterior hip pain. From a programming standpoint, the back rehab program would likely be a good entry point but once you are through that, you would likely benefit even more from transitioning to a more general training program like the bridge.
