Anxiety-> insomnia. Training advice

Hi! I’m in the big cool club of people with an anxiety disorder. When I panic I have significant insomnia and can sometimes only sleep 3 hours a night for several nights until it passes. I’m in a heightened state of a alertness and want to train at like 3 in the morning after 3 hrs of sleep. Would it mess my journey back to ‘normal’ sleep if I just get up and do it? Or should I wait to 5 am?

It is fine to get up and start your day (including training) in that situation, as long as you do not go back to bed / nap for the rest of the day. This will help restore a normal sleep schedule in the evening.
