Hi guys
I love your stuff. I had massive knee issues last year and went to see my doctor around March last year. Got sent for an MRI in September for my knee. I gave up all sport and any form of running. I started rehabbing with a physio and stopped feeling pain around September or October time, so no swelling, pain or locking or clicking.
Anyway I decided to start the beginner template and have done it up to this point and I am nearly on week 11. I have had no real knee issues.
Anyway I saw the doctor today and he told me that my MRI showed a completely torn anterior cruciate ligament and torn cartilage/meniscus. He said I am asymptotic, but he tested my knee and said the knee is still lax. So my muscles are basically compensating for my ligament.
He said I don’t need surgery unless it is stopping me from doing sport. It has not really stopped me doing barbell realted stuff, but it has stoppedme being able to do martial arts for a whole year. I have agreed to arthroscopic surgery. I would like to get a consultation with you guys to give me a better idea what to do barbell wise and what to avoid.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Phil
