I am currently running the Beginner Template and am on week three of the first phase. I am also in a caloric restriction (250p/205c/65f) with a current body weight of 276.5lbs.
My question is this: do I move on to the next phase if I stall on two of the main lifts in weeks 4.2 ;4.3; etc. like it is prescribed in the plan? Or, because I am cutting, do I continue in the phase until another benchmark is hit?
My goal is to improve health, lose body fat, and become stronger. Though losing fat as the priority (getting waist below 37" from 49")…so I am fine with strength gains being mitigated, but I don’t want to move on prematurely to the next phase if I am continuing to lose wight/inches of my waist and maintaining my strength or even losing a few pounds off of my main lifts.
What are your thoughts? Thank you in advance.
