Bench press, bench variations and shortness of breath

I’ve been doing quite a lot of bench press recently. During the last weeks I’ve been doing bench or variations of on 10 days. I’ve been experiencing a shortness of breath and a tight feeling around my chest and in my left upper arm. My heart was checked 2-3 years ago and then everything was normal, but after that my cholesterol has risen slightly above normal.

I think it’s just from the intense workout, but there is heart disease risk in my family. Should I just trust that it’s from pressing and not worry about it too much. I’m 32 years old.
