Bench Press, Pectoralis Rupture

Hello BBMF,
I have a problem for a long time, every month during bench press a couple of muscle fibers in my pectoralis rupture, after two, three weeks I manage to heal it, but the problem always comes back, sometimes it is left and sometimes right pectoralis. I consider my bench press technique to be solid and i always take care not to overshoot prescribed RPE. I was changing the frequency of the bench press and grip width reducing and the volume but it just caused my bench to stagnate. Does hand length play a role with this problem? my arm span is 7 feets (214 cm). Does anyone have experience with this kind of problem?

How are you determining that fibers in your pec are rupturing?

Mostly the pain I feel is at the bottom of the lift (when the bar is on my chest). During warming I can feel a slight tightness right in the middle of the pectoralis, after I pass 70% I feel slight pop and sharp pain that extends from the sternum to the shoulder, parallel to the other fibers. After that i can’t bench press full range of motion with an empty barbell because is painfull , what I usually do is chest fly with 1kg dumbbell and work on that range of motion because it is drastically decreased, i found out that this helps over time with healing. Every time after this rupture i check for any skin color changes in that place, but i never noticed anything. I forgot to mention that I have never had any serious pectoralis injury before.
