Bent BB Rows?

I notice in most of your templates you suggest Pendlay style rows, inverted rows, or 1arm DB/BB rows.

Is there anything “less than optimal” in terms of the traditional bent over barbell row?

I’ve got a barebones powerlifting style home gym and I’m looking to mix up my back work from pendlay rows/inverted rows.

anything wrong with bent rows and/or Yates style rows?

Nothing wrong with any of these. Individual preference, and/or finding which (if any) you respond best to is a perfectly fine way to pick among them.
