Would it be ok to replace single arm cable row instead of barbell lever row? Will the stimulus be similar enough to work for a powerlifting template? I’ve had lever row in my templates several times before, and I found it kinda awkward. The set up in the commercial gym is not ideal, takes relatively a lot of time (especially if I need to wait for a bench), the RoM is kinda short, and I get exhausted from it so fast I’d rather be doing pendlay rows at this point.
Dumbbells go up to 50kg in my gym (which is not enough for me), and we’ve recently had a new horizontal rowing machine set up. So I figured if it would work as good as lever rows. Especially considering 0 set up time and much better RoM.
