Best Power Rack for Home Gym, Expert Advice to Choose

I researched the best power rack for home gym use because I’m planning to build a proper setup at home and wanted something stable, durable, and reliable for squats, bench press, and other barbell exercises. I’ve been comparing different options and going through reviews from fitness websites and Reddit home gym threads, and after comparing many options these two kept coming up as the top choices:

Sportsroyals Power Cage

ULTRA FUEGO Power Cage

However, I’m having trouble deciding which one would be better for me and I would love to get your expert advice. I’m mainly looking for something that will be stable for regular home use but also give me enough flexibility for different exercises.

I’ll be using it mostly for squats and bench press, with pull-ups and possibly other attachments later, so I’m not sure which one would be more suitable or personally recommended for me? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

These racks wouldn’t be my first choice, as I think the hole spacing is quite wide and the quality of the build is relatively low. I’d be looking at the Rogue R3 at this price point. We can see what other people think!

I also deleted the affiliate links that were originally in the URLs. I assume that was by accident, as we do not allow that on this forum.

Hello Believer,

For a nice rack for the home gym, I agree with Dr. Jordan and also highly recommend the Rogue R3. I have had both the older welded version and the bolt-together design (now offered). The rack is solid and the smaller hole spacing is perfect for rack pulls, pin squats, and bench spotting. The R3 is $870 with FREE shipping! Also, I highly recommend the Rogue ML390F Flat Foot power rack if you don’t want to bolt it down. I used to have this rack also and loved it. The 390F is also what Dr. Charlie Dickson uses in his garage gym and also recommends it.
