I’ve read Jordan’s articles To Be a Beast and 7 Rules to Optimize Protein Intake, and I still have a question regarding meal timing and quantity. I’m currently in a caloric deficit to lose body fat, and this week I’ve been experimenting with changing the timing of my meals.
Meal scenario:
Breakfast is a whey protein shake: 260 calories / 50g protein / 3g fat / 6g carb.
Lunch is a salad w/chicken: 810 calories / 104g protein / 26g fat / 36g carb.
If breakfast is at 7am, would it be beneficial to eat half the salad at 10am and the other half at 1pm, or can I eat the whole salad at 12pm and receive the same results? Remaining meals of the day will be 3-5 hours apart and will hit the same calories/macro totals for the day.
Now I’m hungry.
