Break with Starting Strength...?

What’s up with that?!?!

I believe BBM will be releasing a formal statement on this soon. I think it comes down to the competing online coaching and seminar businesses. There are also some differences when it comes to intermediate programming philosophy. I like Rip and Starting Strength but I side with BBM when it comes to increasing volume with more reasonable weight instead of just grinding out 5RM’s every week.

If i remember correctly what Jordan said from an Instalive, there were disagreements about some programming, ideals and then the major thing being the SSOC is direct competition to BBM.

Yea, it has to mainly be business related. Heck, I am basically doing the heavy/light split from the Practical Programming & Barbell Prescription books except I use RPE to determine my main set. I’m not sure how that is such a big deal. Basically the only difference is that I don’t allow myself to use a weight that is too heavy or fail to get reps. If SS think that’s bad, I don’t want to be right.
