If we are doing bb2, during the deload week like week 0, if we are going to eat at surplus for the routine for that week should we eat at maintenance, or just slightly above? Or eat in same surplus? The output is going to be lower
The amount of Calories used from resistance training during and after (via EPOC) are relatively modest. I do not think you need to make any changes to your nutrition during a deload week since volume isn’t that different (relatively speaking), the duration is only 1-week, and you’ve been training for a long time, making any exercise-induced energy expenditure a bit less anyway.
