Chewing vs inhaling

Hello! Recently I heard on a podcast that I consider an evidenced based source of information, that not chewing food completely could lead to missing out on nutrients. This kind of struck me a bull shit, but I wanted to get the bbm take on it. I tend to inhale my food since I work in healthcare and wondered if it could actually matter at all. I’m assuming the hostile low ph environment of the stomach along with all of the other enzymatic reactions probably do an awesome job on prepping for absorption whether I eat fast or not.

That is 100% bullshit. Additionally, how quickly (or slowly) you eat food doesn’t play a role in satiety signaling either.
