I had the realization today that signing up for events motivates me and I have no problem being the slow dude running a half marathon so I shouldn’t have any problem being the weak dude at a powerlifting event.
The being said, I’m looking to do my first event! I’ll probably be coming into the event at just under 100 kg and hoping to lift 1250lb total (squat, bench, deadlift). I plan on having my lifting shoes and maybe a belt.
Any suggestions for events that are best suited for me?
