Post meet template order?

Hey guys, I know there is a myriad of posts like this.
Currently prepping for my first meet that is in 8 weeks, old PRs from a while back are 165/105ish/200/75kg S/B/D/P @~78kg and 6ft, 19y/o.
After the meet, I am thinking I really need to invest time in hypertrophy work as that is probably holding me back. I’ve been lifting for around 3.5years with a lot of fuckarounditis in the past 2 years, hence the bad total :confused:

Anyways, I was thinking of either going with Hypertrophy II or Powerbuilding II. Which one do you think I would benefit from more?
Since Hypertrophy is generally more volume with higher rep ranges, post meet I thought it would be a good idea to run since I’m guessing PBII uses lower rep ranges that I will be somewhat more accustomed to due to the nature of meet prep

I would run Powerbuilding II, as your interest in strength performance really prevents me from recommending taking 2.5 months off exposure to that. I think the volume will be high enough with enough accessory work to drive progress here regardless.

Is there any point in doing Hypertrophy II as your off-season program if you have a SBD 1RM focus or is Powerbuilding II enough?

I think you could run a single block between strength programs or run the entire Hypertrophy II program when training resources are tight or if you need a break.
