I tried to look for informations regarding the supplementation of cutrulline malate for enhancing performance and recovery in resistance training, and the evidence seems to me to not be very clear. Do u have a stronger take on its effects? And also it’s recommended to be used chronically about 2g per day, is there a point in taking a higher acute dose?

Yea, we think citrulline malate has decent evidence supporting its use both from health and performance standpoints. I would not agree with a chronic dose of 2g/d, as higher doses are typically used in the research to support its efficacy. We included CM in PeriRx because we think it’s worthwhile.

Thanks Jordan, I see that PeriRx cobtains 8g of CM, does the dose depend on bw and also do u take it daily or just as a pre workout on training days?
I haven’t seen anything on bodyweight dosing. Most of the studies finding positive effects of CM use daily dosing and, on days that the person trains, taking it prior to training.
