I have read we should take beta alanine and creatine every day for their weightlifting benefits. Is there anything else that needs to be taken daily, vs only on lifting days, for benefit? Such as beta alanine, Theanine, betaine, citrulline Malate, or anything else in peri rx that should be taken daily vs only on woek our days?
should we take 3.2g or 6.4g or beta alanine daily for the max lifting benefits?
This might sound like an asinine question, but what’s generally the practical felt effect of Peri-Rx? What’s meant by “recovery” in this regard? Less doms, higher RPE thresholds for subsequent workouts, etc? This is the first evidence-based compound supplement I’ve encountered apart from basics so I’m curious what the most common experience tends to be (or your own @Jordan, as I trust what you put your name on).
The ingredients included in PeriRx have been around for a very long time and have proven their worth respect to performance and relevant adaptations.
“Recovery” means the same thing it always means, thedissipation of negative stress-induced changes, which increasesthe potential for positive stress-induced changes to be realized.

This is the “process” rather than the demonstrable result. To your point, yes, reduced feelings of fatigue, DOMS, etc. is part of the equation.
Thank you
I was reading your post from 2017 about whether we should take peri rx daily or every other day (lifting days), I believe you had recommended daily (and the website for peri rx says take daily), but I think In the post you did say it’s a little unclear and every other day may be ok esp if we take beta alanine 6.4g daily and creatine 5g dIly
as that was 6 years ago regarding the post, would you recommend we take peri rx daily to get the max effect, or is it ok to take every other day? Or take daily for a month then do every other day since it’s in the body now?
I have read beta alanine and creatine should be taken daily. I haven’t found the answer whether citrulline Malate needs to be taken daily or if can Jsut be taken pre work out only at the 8g dose? The goal being increased workout performance, not general cardiac health.
