Good tidings Dr’s,
I was unsure to put this in medical or nutrition as it contains both, apologies in advance. I have a double scope (colon/Endo) scheduled later this week. I’ve had to do many of them before so I am aware of the protocol, but my question is regarding the day prior to the procedure. I have my instructions of clear liquids the entire day prior which I always do. However as broth is allowed per the instructions I was going to drink a ton of bone broth and as it is the only source of protein I can think of that is allowed and Gatorade for carbohydrates. I know one day in the grand scheme of training isn’t super important, but I am in a bit of a training groove currently on a strength template and I know heavily reduced calories and in particular, protein, are going to affect my training. As my GI doesn’t care about my training or strength in general, I was wondering what your opinions would be on any other nutrient dense options/training after scopes.
Thanks
