Counting sets on workout template

Hello BBM community!

It’s my first time to do any templated kind of workout, but I consider myself an intermediate lifter.

I decided to dip my toes with Powerbuilding I and I have a question on the sets:

On the spreadsheet it has 9 sets listed but under the Reps & Intensity its stated to do " 5 reps @ RPE 6, 5 reps @ RPE 7, 5 reps @ RPE 8. No back off sets.​"

My question is, do I do 7 sets as warm up sets that leads up to 3 working sets (5 reps @ REP6, etc.)? Or do I do 1 set each and finish 6 sets of 5 reps @ RPE 8?

For the workout you describe above, you would do 1 set of 5 reps @ RPE 6, 1 set of 5 @ RPE 7, and 1 set of 5 @ RPE 8, that’s all. The empty cells for logging are there for when the number of sets increases. I would log all work sets and warm-up sets RPE 7 and higher.

I foolishly did the latter (6 sets of 5 reps @ RPE 8) and I’m still sore and fatigued after 2 days. Will rest up and adjust accordingly.
