7 week Hypertrophy 4-Day Template Questions

After an absolutely great Toronto seminar, I’ve bought my first BBM template as the exercise component of a leaning out goal. (Gotta get below that 35 BMI and 40" waist!) I’m eager to get going but there are some things that I’m not sure of so I’m hoping for a little clarification.

  • I understand what “6 Reps @ 6 RPE (70%), 6 Reps @ 7 RPE (75%), 6 Reps @ 8 RPE (79%) x 2 Sets” means, but there are rows to record 9 sets. Are the extra rows for warm-ups sets? And would the inclusion of warm-up sets mess with the Analysis tab?

  • I didn’t see a Myorep description in this template but the interwebs have enlightened me to the concept. On the template, does “14-16 Reps @ 8 RPE, 3-5 Reps” mean only 1 set for the initial 14-16 reps and then only one 3-5 reps after the pause?

The extra slots are just extra. You can leave them blank. The warm ups would be such a low RPE that you don’t need them, although I don’t think they would notably alter the analysis.

You have 1 activation set but then you rest about 20 sec, do a set of 5, rest 20 sec, do another set of 5, and so on until one of two things-you do 5 sets OR the number of reps you can do drops to 3. You stop at which ever comes first.

The description is in the help tab. The cell with the “About GPP” or “About RPE” is a dropdown box. Click on the little arrow on the right side of the cell. Then select your choice from there.
