Defecit DL substitue

In Bridge v3, would it be reasonable to substitute snatch/wide grip DL for the 2 inch deficit DL prescribed and keep the same set/reps?

All the plates at my gym have lots of holes and are really not great to stand on at all and there is nothing else. I’d rather not take up all the 10kg plates or have to carry a small block with me so I thought that the snatch grip would add some range of motion.

If the change of position makes the SNGL too different - what would you recommend instead?

I wouldn’t do that. Snatch grip DL is significantly different from the regular deadlift and 2" deficit DL.

Are there not any mats or smaller plates you could use for the weight on the bar?

I would probably just keep doing paused deadlifts.
