Degrees of risk after 37 inche waist ?

After you pass that 37 inch mark, is there certain degrees of risk associated with that the further you get , or is it 38 inches and bam
youre at risk just as much as the guy with a 45 inch waist ? I would also assume that someone with no family history of heart disease or heart problems could get away maybe a bit more as long as they are still very active like lifting and some cardio ?

It’s a spectrum of risk, and it’s determined by multiple other factors simultaneously, not just the waistline alone. For example, two people with the same waistline may both be at elevated risk for a certain condition, but have different genetic propensities influencing their absolute risk. It’s complicated.

Regardless, we strongly recommend getting waist circumferences down into the lower-risk range.
