Hi everyone,
I have a curious issue in my elbow that started several weeks back during a set of weighted dips. On one rep in the middle of the set, upon reaching the bottom of the rep I felt/heard a loud “pop” in my right elbow and immediately put my feet down and walked away. I waited for the pain to come on, however it never did. In fact, I slowly began exercising the arm to see how it felt, and was able to complete my last set of dips unloaded but without any pain. In the next three weeks of normal training, I never had a repeat of the terrifying pop, however I noticed a small amount of discomfort in the funny bone area and a tiny amount of tingling/numbing feeling in the pinky and that side of the palm. I haven’t been able to link it to any specific exercises. My question is are there any exercises/treatment options to keep this from developing into something worse? Thanks for reading.
