Favorite Upper Back Exercises

Building off of Claire’s recent IG post, what are your favorite upper back exercises for GPP purposes? Are you implementing any particular exercises as you prepare for your meet?

My favorites are:

Barbell Rows off of a GHR
Lat Pull Down
Seated Row
T-bar row
1-arm DB row
chins and pull ups

I’m doing mostly lat pull downs and seated rows to save myself any low back or elbow fatigue unrelated to the big 3.

How many pull ups can you do?

In a single set I’ve done 24 and the most weight I’ve done for a pull up is BW + 135lbs.

how do these lessen elbow fatigue? neutral grip?

Using a lighter weight for a given rep range for me and greater degree of freedom than a straight-bar chin or pull-up.
