I started the year with a b/w of 198lb but a waist of 40.5" so I decided to take care of that ASAP and cut. I am currently sitting at 191ish with waist down to 38.8" so things are going in the right direction. I recieved a BBM template bundle off a friend and basically haven’t looked back. So far I have ran The Bridge 3.0, and currently into week 3 of HLM. I plan on getting waist to 37.5" then switch calories back to maintenance and run through the 12 Week Strength. The extra conditioning/GPP days have been a massive help with this fat loss and I am feeling great. After 12 Week Strength I am stumped as thats all my programming I have for now so I’m thinking maybe purchasing Powerbuilding. I am wondering what you would recommend doing and if PB is a good shout.
I think PB-I or II would be a great choice if you’re still interested in gaining strength, but not focusing on it like a powerlifter. Ultimately, any template would be fine to run in an energy deficit to lose weight. I would plan on taking your waist down to 35" or less before switching to maintenance.
Also as an aside, are you saying that your friend gave you the BBM Template Bundle?
Thanks for the reply. Ok, so basically just keep on doing what I’m doing with regards to slowly dropping the weight and keep nudging the waistline down?
for the Templates, yes. I had a friend who had a bundle of your’s (BBM), think it was The Bridge 3.0, Endurance, HLM, 12 Week Strength, Olympic, and maybe one other which he wasn’t using as he has since started doing his own programming, which then opened new doors for me as % based stuff was kinda just beating me up. Also, I was doing zero conditioning.
It’s really been a great way for me yo train, still learning the use of RPE but its improving and training is way more productive so thank you guys
Yes, I don’t think that you need to run any special program for weight loss.
As far as the template sharing, that’s a bit disappointing that our IP is being shared regardless of what the individual who purchased it originally is doing now. That said, I’m glad you’re enjoying it.
Using illicitly acquired templates and then asking for free advice from the folks that are harmed by your illicit acquisition. Do you not see how this looks bad on you? This may also harm the community here as it may force BBM to raise prices or potentially engage in draconian actions to lock down sharing.
Don’t you think you should at least buy the template you use. They are not that expensive for what you get.
No affiliation, just a user that understands that if we get back what we put out.
Yeah, so basically I was explaining to my friend how beat up I was feeling from running the back end of % based programming and just not enjoying training. He recommended I tried the bundle and I’ve basically not looked back. My journey into BBM programming has started and its been just what was needed.
