im on lockdown here in Germany and im fortunate to now have time to lift. My current schedule allows me to train every other day. So question: I want to start my hypertrophy plan and wondered how or if I should integrate GPP into this schedule? Can I just skip GPP or should I make every 4th day or so a GPP day? GPP would require me to leave my house (which I can’t) so the GPP would anyway be some sort of bodyweight type of workout.

We would recommend doing the GPP as prescribed in the template, which can either be on training days or days between training. Is Germany not letting you go outside for a walk? It’s hard to keep up with all the different country’s policies these days.
indeed we are allowed to go out but I can only train at night and I can’t leave my two kids home alone. With my current situation I only have time every other day at night to train in my basement. I have no cardio equipment either. So I would have to do some sort of calisthenics. I understand the situation is not ideal so I’m asking if I should fit in a GPP workout in the rotation or just stick to barbell training till my situation changes.

I would do calisthenics at home for GPP or, alternatively, take your kids for a walk
