Hello Dr’s.
I had reached out to you guys regarding consulting but at this time I can not afford that route. I have a high hamstring tendon issue that has been lingering. It started back when I was finishing my LP and I should have taken notice of it back then. Instead I kept working out hard and set some more PR’s on my first two weeks of the Bridge 2.0 until the pain became apparent all the time and transitioned to a sharp constant pain when sitting and bending at the waist. It is also now a dull pain when walking or standing. The last workout I did was on Monday evening and I did 3x12 @ 80lbs of weight at a 3 0 3 tempo to see how this felt. I have listened to the pain podcasts and know that more volume and less intensity at tempo was a recommendation of tendon issues.
Anyways, the pain seems to be dissipating and starting to slowly get better. I haven’t worked out since the tempo work because this seemed to aggravate the injury a lot as well, especially the next morning. I am currently just doing air squats and some upper body work. When the pain has subsided enough to begin training with the bar again should I continue to do tempo work? Should I do an LP again and build up load?
I was previously on the third week of the Bridge and really enjoying it, should I move to something like the hypertrophy template since this is a higher volume and lower intensity than the Bridge 2.0? Would this be less taxing on coming back from an injury.
I really appreciate your guys time and your content.
Thanks
