Hip rehab template

Hello,

I recently started using the Hip Rehab Template for new onset medial L hip pain I began to experience in the bottom of the squat. With ascending RPE levels over the course of the Copenhagen planks, I was wondering if the recommendation would typically be to do a more challenging variant each set or to expect that symptoms and fatigue will cause the RPE to increase over the course of the sets? Thank you!

Interested to see what the response will be here as I was unsure also. I attempted to increase the RPE by holding a weight plate on the upper side of my hips for the duration of each plank and increment that way…I find these quite awkward to set up for in my gym though so have subbed out for the adductor machine instead.

If RPE is climbing or you are experiencing symptoms somewhere else, you may need to scale back to an easier variation until those symptoms subside. If you do a set an experience symptoms with the bench at your ankle, I would shorten the lever arm to your knee and see if that helps.
