How much more weight should I lose?

Hey Jordan,

I’m a 5’10.5” 22 year old male. I have been cutting since the middle of May.

Starting Stats:
Weight: 231
Waist: 41”
Body Fat: 25-26%

Current Stats:
Weight: 204
Waist: 34-35”
Body Fat: 20-21%

I have no plans to compete in powerlifting for the rest of the year and my main goal is to maintain around 15-18% body fat while increasing muscle mass with strength secondary.

My questions are: Is there a ballpark to how much more weight I can lose before I’m considered underweight by your standards?

I find that my compliance is much better when I’m cutting/bulking versus maintenance because I’m able to see weekly or biweekly results on the scale. Would it be reasonable to cut to that weight before I start maintaining or eating at a surplus again?

I don’t have a firm underweight cutoff based on height, as I think that additional context is needed to decide that you know?

I think if you want to be leaner then you should do that before bulking, right?
