One brand of peas has 5g protein, the other has 4g. The discrepancy is even larger for other vegatables: there’s a brand of kidney beans sold at my supermarket that claims 8g for 100 cals, and another than claims 6g for 100 cals.
I eat a lot of servings of both of these foods, so the difference could definitely be meaningful over time. Could it really be the case that the same vegetable has different macronutrient content based on how its grown?
Should i just use the less optimistic values and carry on, or is there any way to tell how valid the labels are?
