Index Finger Flexor Tendinopathy

I’ve developed chronic pain in my left index finger over the last few weeks, which I’m guessing is a tendinopathy of the flexor tendon.

What exercise(s) would you recommend to rehab this issue? It doesn’t hurt when I do pulling exercises, which is strange. It just hurts when I’m at rest and is intermittent. Do you think I should dial back my training a little bit? The last thing I want to do is make it worse and turn it into a months-long issue instead of something that could be resolved sooner.
