Greetings,
I’m a 26 year old male otherwise very healthy and active and I have recently over the past 7 or 8 weeks developed some very “weird” paresthesias with a range of sensations throughout my body that I’m not sure whether or not to pursue further evaluation. The location is fairly random throughout my body with both LE being primarily affected including my glutes, posterior leg/outer hamstring, anterior & lateral hip (very frequently), my groin/genital area, as well as my right oblique area sometimes. I do notice my forehead is also affected sometimes. I don’t have any pain other than an occasional jolt here or there its just an odd sensation that feels like an itch or something is crawling under my skin. I do get a burning and twitching feeling sometimes as well with occasional spasms (only happened 2x). I am not limited in any of my ADLs or limited in my training at all but it doesn’t seem to go away. I have noticed that it’s worse or more noticeable at night or when I’m staying still and I tend not to notice as much when I’m up and moving. I have no other systemic symptoms at all or any discernible rash or anything like that. I had full blood work done a few months back in the winter and everything came back normal except my bilirubin was elevated a little. I sleep 7-9hours a night, eat healthy, and try to manage stress so I can’t seem to figure out what could be causing this. Thank you for your time!
