Is walking beneficial?

Hey, being stuck indoors all day has gotten me wondering: if I’m resistance training 3x per week and doing consistency (e.g. going for a run) 2x per week, is there an additional benefit to e.g. going for a walk every day? Or is that mainly beneficial to people otherwise sedentary?

If so how long would you recommend?
