Correct me if I’m wrong but Jordan I remember you talking about how you enjoy hitting the trails and also the occasional hike , my question is how much do you normally do? Is it timed , is it by distance ?
I want to start getting into hiking ( nothing crazy , 5-7 mile trails and nothing over a moderate difficulty ) but I’m skeptical if I can do it while keeping my strength and while still making progress.
For the the last year or so when the weather permits I walk my dog about a mile after my training sessions , so 4x a week and I haven’t found it to mess with my training at all.
I train Monday Tuesday , Thursday Friday and so now on Wednesday’s and Saturdays I’d like to start adding more walking into my week, and Saturdays would also be the days that I do my hikes that way I still have Sunday to rest ( though it may be sometimes that Sunday is when I do the hike) so by adding this in slowly would you expect it to affect anything at all ?
