Just wanted to say thanks!

January of 2022 I got bloodwork done , my triglycerides were 152 and my total cholesterol was 225

this morning I had it rechecked, my triglycerides were 134 and my total cholesterol was 192, successfully getting both back into the normal range. I took your advice of adding fish ( I do salmon) into my diet once a week and adding in cashews and almonds every day. I also upped my fruit and veggies intake by a great deal on top of dropping an additional 10 pounds. My HDL and LDL rations are still not great but I’ll take any progress I can get. The only slightly alarming part of my blood work is my blood glucose went from 95 to 102 despite all of the changes.

Awesome to hear it.

And regarding your blood glucose, that is not a significant enough difference to be confident it represents anything “real”, due to analytic and biologic variability. https://www.bmj.com/content/368/bmj.m149

Thank you for the article doc. I was really scratching my head on that because I take in much less sugar than I did before due to my dietary changes to combat the cholesterol so I was confused how my glucose had spiked up.
