I’ve been having some issues as my squats are increasing. I have been feeling some pretty intense outward lateral pressure on my knees. Well to be more specific, at the very top of my shin bone. I actually had to cut my sets short last night due to the pain. I tried dropping the weights but even at warm up weight the pain was still there. I’ll try to get the sets in tonight after my deadlift session. I’ve played around with foot placement and it is pretty consistent regardless. What are some common form errors to watch out for that could cause this?
I don’t think there are any form issues causing this directly, especially without seeing a video.
What program are you running? Any new conditioning, stress, or exercises?
Just getting back to the 12 week press template after a few weeks of the hypertrophy template. In terms of weight on the bar the RPE would be right on if it wasn’t for the pain in the leg.
