Im 7 weeks into the LF program. My squats and deadlifts reached a relative peak in E1rms from 160x3 @ 7 in week 3 to 125x5 @ 8. Bench suffered a lower drop. Tried reducing sets but I am still feeling stale and fatigued. Do I just power through and see what the next block brings?
Honestly, I have not even been doing the 2ct DLs and the 3rd squat exercise because I felt that I couldn’t recover from that. I have just been doing Squats, Deadlifts and Paused Squats for my lower body exercises.
Just to make sure we’re on the same page, what program are you running specifically and to confirm, you have not been doing the supplemental deadlift or squat exercises throughout the entire block, yes?
Yea, I meant there are four different programs in that download and two 3-day programs.
That said, the triple performance in week 3 compared to the set of 5 performance during a pivot week is not really instructive. I would advise continuing the program as written, including the 3rd squat assistance and supplemental deadlifts, even if that means doing them with very light weights.
