LP and adding cardio for PT test

Hello gentlemen so I’m 2 months in LP and lifts are still going up. I’m 40 5’8 and weigh 210. I need to start getting ready for my PT run I got every 6 months. How do I go about adding it to maintain my LP.

How far out are you from your PT test?

We often have people start out by adding one low-intensity steady state run per week, and eventually add in a second interval-focused conditioning day a bit later on.

Thanks for the reply. I will be taking my test first weekend in September. I have no problem starting slow just want to get ahead of it. I failed my first one with a 15:30 for the Mile and half. I need to get it to 13:30 for my next run.
