Struggling a bit on setting my macros. Currently, 40 y/o standing 6’3" @ 222 lbs with a waist measurement of about 38.5 inches. Carry most of my excess fat in my lower abdomen. Used the “To Be A Beast” targets for macros under Recomp (was debating this or Fat Loss), so set at 223 C, 256 P, 78 F for 2618 calories a day. I am running the group training through BBM (power building) and have run two of your templates in the past. Macros seem okay?
Seems reasonable to me for a starting point. I would just monitor your response to the intake and adjust accordingly.
Is there a period of time you’d suggest and a next step? If I don’t see improvement in say, 4 weeks, should I decrease fat by a little (5-10 g) or fat/carbs?
