Mid back strain

Hello,

I just wanted some confirmation on my planned course of action for a back tweak from last night.

Tip - the 4th rep of a set of 5 @ 9 SSB squats is not the time to look over and make sure your safety pins are in the right position! I lost my brace, heard most of my back “crack” and felt a sharp pain in my mid-upper back.

I was upset but I didn’t panic. I finished my 2 back off sets. I finished my OHP with only a slight decrease in my planned weights. I finished my Pendlay rows at a higher weight than I had planned.

My sleep was horrible. In the middle of the night my back froze and I was in a lot of pain. Today it feels good to walk around.

I plan on going forward with everything as planned and make adjustments to load when needed. While I think I know the answer I wanted to confirm that this seems like a prudent course of action.

Thanks for your time,

Andrew
