I have ran a few of the programs so far and have been super happy with the results. Bu t I am noticing that once I start hitting the later weeks in the strength and powerlifting templates, my body cant seem to keep up. It feels like I am peaking around week 8 or 9. Any advice on if modifying a template ? Or is it just me?
Many of the strength-focus templates (I’m thinking 12WS and the new PL ones) increase training volume for a number of weeks, specify a deload week, then increase volume again for a number of weeks. It sounds like you’re starting to carry some fatigue across sessions by that stage in the program, which is not that unusual. Just listen to what your body is telling and try to hit the prescribed RPEs, rather than any particular weights. Your work capacity may also increase over time and help make this less of an issue,
