Been been training for about 5 years but just took a week off training and back to bridge but I’m now very sore from day 1 even though I didn’t push or even feel that the session was over stressing but I’m I’ve got serious DOMS was just wondering what I should do about tomorrow session which has me squatting and benching again ?
Welcome to the Bridge! You should go ahead and train, using RPE to adjust the load if needed. Remember that there are no prizes awarded for lifting ALL the weight your first week, so if you err on the side of lighter than you might expect for Day 2 given the DOMS, that will be just fine in the long-term.
