Currently on the bridge week 5. On day 3 went to the gym did my deadlifts and bench. Then when I do my first set of squats with the bar to warm up knee hurts. Rested a while then tried again it still hurts so I stopped and was forced to skip them. A bit of background information previous to the bridge I was struggling with some knee pain. I went to see GP (general practitioner) he just said rest it so I did then after 2 weeks painless and started squatting. I suspect it was overuse as long as I train smart I can feel when I think it’s going to go and have been managing it well. I have slowly built its tolerance back up. My question is do I need to make up for this somewhere next week or will it not affect anything.
