I’ve had this for a year now. Nothing major, and does not prevent training. It’s in the area of the hip flexor, but I’m not sure that’s what it is necessarily. It is most aggrivated when squating, especially early on when I’m warming up. Then it feels tweaked at various times in between training sessions.
Wondering if there is a setup issue that might be preventing this from going away. My heels are slightly wider than shoulder width. I have my shoulder width (outside edge to outside edge on the deltoids) measured and marked on my floor. Early on I started putting the inside edge of my heels on those lines. It just seemed to feel better. So basically if you drew a vertical line directly down from the shoulder joint, my heels are outside of those lines. Toe flare is about 30 degrees or more, but less than 45 degrees. I actively remember to drive the knees outward.
Sometimes bringing my heels in so they are directly under the shoulders seems to feel a bit better. Not sure if that’s a good long term plan though.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
