No standing press

I have some ceiling limitations in my new home gym, that makes it impossible to do standing press. I have no strength interest in the press - it’s just delt work for me, so for volume work I’ll just do the seated or kneeling press, but what about when “Press with belt” is programmed and especially with a 1@8. I would find that hard to do with a seated press.

I would just replace it with another bench press variation in that case, e.g. 2ct paused bench or touch and go bench. It’s okay to repeat these more than once per week too!

Yeah, that was my idea aswell. I just didn’t believe in my own self-efficacy. Funny how I thought “Yeah, No pull-ups. Will just do more rows for upper back”, but I kind of held on to the idea that the standing press is a somewhat unique and unreplaceable exercise. Lesson learned

Yea, man. It’s all just made up anyway. Good to remember
