I’m just looking to clarify something for bench press. I’m starting the bridge 1.0 soon and want to know if bench press is paused briefly or touch and go. I understand 2ct bench etc. but when it calls for just bench what do I do? Also for OHP I know it’s standing but at my home gym I don’t have the overhead clearance so is seated acceptable? My work gym is fine for standing so I will be getting it in depending on schedule. Thanks for any help in advance. I’m looking forward to starting.
Welcome! The standard bench press in our programs is a 1 ct paused bench, unless otherwise noted. And if your only option at home is the seated press, that’s what we’d have you do! Being able to press at the gym will also be good when you are able to do that.
Thanks for the clarification. I have one more question that came to mind. When the program goes to multiple sets @8, does that mean the final set is @8 or 8 across the board. If that is the case to me it seems as fatigue sets in on each subsequent set the weight would go down slightly. Am I correct in this?
