Non functional overreaching

Hey guys how would you deal with non functional overreaching? Would 1 deload week be enough or would you plan more ? Also should you try to stick to rpes without trying to push more untill you get to normal levels of fatigue?
i guess if someone been doing that for weeks it will take as much time to go back to normal?

Personally? Not that often. I do see it a lot in people looking for coaching though.

The duration needed to return back to baseline level performance is dependent on many factors, such as what the training looked like before, how long someone had been doing it, how progress and performance are being measured, the individual’s fitness level, and more.

In general, I think choosing a more appropriate program for the individual’s goals is the first course of action. Things should resolve from there by following appropriate programming strategies, e.g. low stress introductory week, watching training load and responding appropriately, etc.
