Lifting for nearly 5 year. Got my bench to 315 in 3 year (consistently making progress). First 2 years I never did squat or deadlift and in 1 year got my squat to 425 and my deadlift to 500. Now after that my strength goes up and down and this running those old programs which was canditos 6 week program I decided to switch things up and got the bridge free version the first week I got great gains on all my lifts but 2nd week Friday which was this last Friday I had lost like 30 pounds on all my lifts. What do you guys think it could be. I followed the rpe nutrition and sleep well to that Friday but it all was for nothing.
Could be so many different reasons that it does not even matter at this stage, it was only one week! One likely factor could be that you just aren’t used to the volume in this program yet. If you you are consistently dropping 30lbs on your e1RMs for the next few weeks, I’d reassess a few things, but I doubt that would be the case. Don’t expect progress to necessarily be linear, keep in mind you’re probably making volume gainzZz regardless and just keep at it and see how your numbers are by the end of the program
I guess from lifting heavy constantly could be why I felt weak. I’ll post my result or changes as it goes on.
