One foot in front of the other during Squats

I’m 41 years old and I’ve been training all my life (basketball, volleyball) but lifting heavy only 5 years. My best Squat is 200kg. When i Squat my right foot is in front of the left by almost half an inch. Last couple of weeks i have lateral hip pain. Should i address this imbalance or should i continue training with reduced volume and intensity until pain is gone and then gradually go up in weights?
Are this kind of imbalances common and are they dangerous if left untreated in the long run?

I would not attribute your hip pain symptoms to this foot placement.

I would manage the hip pain using our usual recommended strategies, and expect you’ll be OK with that.
